We had porridge today too, for the first time in ages, because the mango and melon in the fruit bowl that we should have been having were still too hard to eat. It was yummy. We had lots of honey on it. And brown sugar, to make the milk go a nice colour.
What did you have on yours? And do you make it with water (as I do) or milk? Do you use make it in a pan or in the microwave? (please tell me it's not Ready Brek).

We've got a Father4Justice up a crane opposite our office. He's dressed as Robin althought he didn't get very high up this time. Probably too cold.

i use 100% oats. and a little plastic scoop that came with the oats. two scoops of oats, two scoops of milk and two scoops of water (the recipe on the oats bag says 4 scoops of milk but that was too creamy for me). 90 seconds on 850w in the microwave. tablespoon of splenda stirred in. tried honey but didn't care for it. i'm a bit funny about honey when it's hot. prefer it on cooling toast or fresh bread.

Sorry, I don't just get the appeal of porridge.... satan's seed to me.
Good to hear about Edward's bowels.... are dogs supposed to have 5 portions of fruit 'n' veg too? (though smaller portions presumably Edward)

Porridge is 1 cup of oats, 3 of water, microwave until done. Serve with milk in the bottom of the bowl.
