I didn't really know Dave's thoughts about Heath & Oscar, and Brokeback in general, he likes to pretend he doesn't have emotions. It's nice to hear though.

I think Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener and Clifton Davis' performances(good as they are) in Capote are masking how utterly boring the film was.

hype, in my opinion, is when a product is marketed heavily which doesn't have any 'substance' (something the monkeys are NOT lacking), i.e. - kubb.

I think the Arctic Monkeys are mainly hype too. To me they sound like something only half-formed. There is something there but it could do with a bit more forming.

Our eldest has been "doing" the Arctic Monkeys in her GCSE music..... don't you just lurve "right-on" teachers
