This sounds like it will be a cool dialog, it even might make a future edition of your free "Conversations" book.
I wanted to point out two quick things. First of all that it might not be a bad idea if they checked out Robert Koons 95 page Catholic apology (he used to be Lutheran for those who dont know).

Also I wanted to add a comment about the pastor's question "What is the Gospel?"
I would first point to Mk 1:1 which says: "The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ"
Thus the Gospel is the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, as passed on by His Church.
I eagerly await to see the rest of this dialog.

Actually Pr. Nichols is considering this as an idea for a possible next book. I would probably agree to that and maybe we could get joint royalties.

Is it just me or does Pastor Maton resemble Matt Damon? "Bourne Identity" anyone?? Seriously though, dialogue like this is sadly scarce, but surprisingly refreshing. I hope it continues.

Yeah, he sorta does! We need more "movie star clergy." Good for the Christian image!

I've added Johnny Montalvo's opening question to the end of the above post.

Agreed: This kind of dialogue is sorely lacking. As a Catholic, I look forward to this series. I'll wager that this will be much more productive than the tit-for-tat which has been representative of the recent rounds of Catholic/Calvinist dialogues.
