Kids used to roll eyes when they saw Mom dancing around the house. Elmore just picked an oldie Marty Robins CD circa 1959... not that I am a C&W person but my Dad used to stop in to a Mexican restaurant in Glendale AZ when I was a kid and guess who was sitting in the corner of the place singing and playing?
Elmore knew I was nearly recovered from my surgery when he saw me dancing to the music......

I was planning on taking tonight off then I saw people still handing around on the previous thread, so I thought what they hey. I've been singing this song constantly for days. It's very satisfying to belt this one out.
"Whoa-oh-oh-ooh-OHHH, I was tired of January, I was tired of June...I felt a change a-comin'..."

Burberry has gotten frightfully expensive with the decline in value of our Monopoly money vs. the pound. I love them, but can't justify the cost given how infrequently I actually need a long raincoat, so I ordered a Drizabone from an internet retailer in New Zealand.

Man-Cub claims that he wants to learn to play guitar, and has asked for one for Christmas. So I went to Guitar Center today to see what's out there. BIG mistake. The electric I've been jonesing after for about the last three years costs a LOT less than I expected. And I spent 45 minutes playing a Taylor acoustic that was pretty stinkin' nice (not as nice as the Guild I've had since high school, but pretty stinkin' nice).

Fooey, I'm halfway around the world here so while you're dancing with curtains closed, I'm feeding the cat, making pancakes, and reading the local Indonesian dailies - Sunday AM. Top news is an Army hearse and a small bus collided, "three dead," I assume not including anyone the hearse was transporting. Other big news here is the global warming conference starting tomorrow in Bali. I'm busy with biz so can't attend, but already I see local protesters on TV "assailing Bush," for obvious good reasons.
