I think your post brought up a good point. We encourage our Spock Users to only send and accept Trust Requests for the people they know. While we can't prevent people from sending out trust requests to anyone and everyone, it's easy to remove someones Trust on Spock. The advantage of Spock over LinkedIn is that we feel it's easier to search, and because it's not a closed site dependent upon invitations, it helps create better searches. If you look at your Network you'll notice that the people who have a direct trust relationship show up first. Please note that without a Trust Request your personally selected information is unavailable. I hope this help clarifies any questions you may have.
