I *am* a Pulp/Jarvis Cocker fan and I'm not a feminist in any extreme sense of the word. I agree with you that this is a brilliant song both in its message and the melody.

My objection to Jarvis's use of 'cunts' is more that he's using it too generically; in my experience it's a very specific insult, and all the more powerful for that.
Irony is that we're not running the world.... I adore Jarvis, but someone needs to take him aside and say that it just aint on.
