What's particularly independent or working class about sheer instinctual morality?
Not everybody finds morality instinctual.
But if you look at an issue, refuse to judge it by putting a tick or a cross wherever a particular ruling class does, and instead ask yourself how the issue affects working-class people and the working-class movement, then you usually come up with a good answer.
My basic point, John, is that a democratic socialist government should act in solidarity with democratic socialist parties and independent trade unions in Pakistan, rather than the military rulers.
