Hey Ranjith,I have to agree with this on u,u know when I was watching K3G with mum at a local theatre,n when this particular scene comes where the national anthem is being recited,everyone in the hall stood up.I wonder why at first place was national anthem introduced in an out n out family drama...I guess the intention was to emotionally charge up ppl,but well standing up was more of a formality.It did appear disrespectful use of national anthem.
On yes these dumb fair n lovely ads........god know when will they stop equating a woman's self esteem with her complexion.

The fiar and lovely ads insult ur intelligence, they are so dumb! but u know wat i am gald that the parliamnet took notice of such demaning ads. it may not as such affect people like us but there are scores of gals in smaller towns of india for whom TV is the only medium of timepass and access to the outer world. Such ads actually help develop inferiority complex in the gals right from their impressionable age. As if living in a prejudiced society was not enuff.......... I am happy such dumb ads have been banned!
