The Dawn Patrol: Comments

I can already predict the excuse that will be proffered if it turns out this is a PP hoax:

The document was fake but accurate!

You nailed it, John!

This hoax will get passed along like chlymidia among people who pass along that sort of thing....

I remember thinking back in 8th grade, when learning about the Nazi's...how was it that the people in Germany could have ever bought into their ideas...or how were they so blind to the evil of Hitler?

But then when you see the things that Planned Parenthood is doing...and the lack of outrage...and I realize that nothing has changed, and people are still just as gullible when it comes to evil's propaganda.

Even if it were true, the whole thing is ridiculous anyway.

"Oh no! Somewhere out there, is a pregnant woman NOT having an abortion!"

"Oh no! I might accidentally run into someone who has a different opinion to me!" (as these days, expressing a contrary opinion to leftist and/or pro-death propaganda equals "harassment")

"I realize that nothing has changed, and people are still just as gullible when it comes to evil's propaganda." -- J. Mark English

Evil always has to sugar coat itself to not be immediately discovered by those people with consciences.

-- Abortion disguises itself as "right to choice" and "bodyright"

-- Political corruption disguises itself as "special programs"

-- Sexual promiscuity disguises itself as "dating"

-- Pornography disguises itself as "freedom of speech"

I could go on and on...also, on the flipside of the issue, the same people who promote those vices denounce their opponents as: anti-choice, anti-poor, judgemental prudes, and speech censors respectively. In otherwords, they have to make the morality of the situation appear upside-down in order to make any headway.

& maybe I don't like their cheesy ads on the radio, where they tell my kids they can sample their unnatural, life (which includes the SOUL)-altering products for free...

& the free samples they hand out to college students, courtesy of WHOSE TAX DOLLARS?

As if they're peddling SHAMPOO!

Hmmm- what if I consider THAT harassment?

They couldn't just peddle shampoo - it could get in your eyes and they could be sued. Oh, and what if it's not dolphin-safe?

In otherwords, they have to make the morality of the situation appear upside-down in order to make any headway.

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)

BTW, I just sent my email to the Indiana politicians (both state and federal that represent Indianapolis, IN) as well as reporting them to the FBI's Internet Crimes Complaint Center.

I once saw sidewalk counselors deceive on that level - they made a young couple in front of PP think they were clinic escorts and brought them to the CPC where I volunteered - and I had two very frightened, angry, resentful young people to deal with. Thank God they had only gone for a pregnancy test and thank God it was negative. I apologized and made the "counselors" apologize. But there are two people who are likely to hate pro-lifers forever without God's intervention, and who will sway their friends and family.

I do not believe that the CPC would have called the police unless they really believed that the girl was being coerced - no sensible people would want to p--- off the police by filing a false report and open themselves up to criminal charges. They have an investment in their building, equipment, and reputation. Self-appointed sidewalk counselors, on the other hand? It is possible.

I am NOT condemning sidewalk counselors on the whole. There are dedicated, wise, gentle people among them. But some of them are frightening in their ranting and shouting, or obviously have a screw loose, or believe that the end of saving a baby justifies deception, intimidation and exposure.

And surely a saving a baby's life is worth that - except that you are very likely not to save it, but instead to harden many hearts, not only the mother's, against your cause.

The "refutation" is faulty -- there aren't 3 PP locations in Indiana, but 37.

How many days were spent driving around the state, checking to see whether or not there a CPC was in the same strip mall of each of those 3?

Noumena,

Only three of the 37 perform abortions, so it wasn't necessary to check all of them.
