thanks for sharing your insights as an agnostic jewish rock journalist. It helps me understand where others are coming from when dissing christians. Really a matter of seeing a situation with a different filter. Thanks for the post

I read Chesterton and find him painting pictures of us in ways we usually don't see or, at the very least, have difficulty comprehending.
And, just as the Word became incarnate, so we, who are made in His image and likeness, are called into His very being by and through the power of His Holy Spirit. We, in some mysterious way, become Christ - "Christ in us." We complete the work of Christ here in this place / realm, building His kingdom HERE. It becomes a one-story universe - God is here present with us - not 'up there' somewhere. We have the same grace to doubt and still prevail in the revoltuton.
So, enough, already - like cathy, thanks for the post.
