I agree; there are many possible interpretations. The church's director of religious education jokingly suggested that I had become part of the Examination of Conscience.

Chris, my talk was at 7:30, immediately following the 7 p.m. Mass.

Actually, the sign makes me think that Dawn's talk was expected to cause people to commit some kind of sin that needed to be confessed immediately. Like, her talk will be so enjoyable, you'll have to go to confession afterwards.
