Awesome T-shirt!

My only problem with that t-shirt - which is otherwise pretty awesome - is the inclusion of "Allah." Allah, the Muslim god, is most definitely not the same God as Jehovah. Allah had no Son who came into the world to save us from our sins.

Allah is Arabic for God; thus, Arabic speaking Christians call Allah, 'Allah'.

I'm in-between on this one. The word "Allah" doesn't refer to a different being or a different god than the one Catholics worship, the way that the name "Baal" or the name "Zeus" does. He's still the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But "Allah" does refer to a very different concept of that God, since (as Jason pointed out) Muslims don't believe in the divinity of Jesus. I'm not sure they believe in the concept of the Holy Spirit either.

No Yahew!

I know, but the average person reading that shirt isn't going to think about that. They're going to think about the Muslim god.

I'm with Gerry - it should've been "Yahweh."

Well, then, the average person is just gonna have to wise up.

This "Allah only equals Muslim concept of God" thing is a Muslim argument. It recently showed up in an article on recently discovered early Christian churches in Syria. Since the Syrian word for God was Allah, the Muslims were saying this supported their old pseudo-history claim that originally all Christians and Jews were Muslim, but fell away from it and concealed the evidence.
