The Dawn Patrol: Comments

The question being, of course, how many people who are pro-choice are also protesters of the Canadian seal hunt.

I ♣ BABY SEALS.

Next logo for Planned Parenthood wear:

I'VE BEEN (SPADE)

I'm with Nelson!

Oh, this is revolting! Check out this page! It features baby clothes! (Looks like they missed a couple, doensn't it?) Not to mention the "Kiss Me I'm Pro-Choice" shirt, which of course comes with the implicit promise of "I'll snuff the ZEF if we make one" if worn by a woman, and "I'll pay for the abortion" if worn by a man.

Then there's the tote bag featuring a bird with what seems to be an empty nest. No doubt she's a pro-choice bird and pushed any inconvenient eggs out of the nest before they could hatch and cramp her style.

They have "Save Roe" merchandise. Evidently nobody's told them that Roe (Norma McCorvey) has already been saved -- and no longer wants anything to do with the likes of Planned Parenthood.

Did you guys see the "birds and bees" baby onsie?

I could take that in so many different directions...

I poked around on the site and there's some interesting brochures - to their credit they have brochures on fertility awareness and one called something like "Is abstinence right for you?" (which of course also lists the "disadvantages" of abstinence). I thought it was interesting that there's a brochure called "How to be a good parent." Can that really be reduced to a brochure?!

Just following suit here:

How about a PP anti-abstinence brochure entitled:

"NO (diamond) REQUIRED"

Recently saw the bumper sticker: DEATH ROE

this photo should be sent to every woman in America.

a spina bifida corrective surgical procedure performed on a twenty-one week old fetus in utero at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

"Suddenly, an entire arm thrust out of the opening, then pulled back until just a little hand was showing. The doctor reached over and lifted the hand, which reacted and squeezed the doctor's finger. As if testing for strength, the doctor shook the tiny fist. Samuel held firm. I took the picture! Wow! It happened so fast that the nurse standing next to me asked, "What happened?" "The child reached out," I said. "Oh. They do that all the time," she responded."

I guess I ♥ WOMEN would be marketed to men and lesbians. They could also have the I ♥ GIRLS line of clothing for the male predators who bring in their underage girls for a "scrape after the statutory rape".

Don't forget that the unspoken implication is that if you don't support, "choice," then you, "HATE," women.

We ◊ a sacrifice

That took me a second, C.J. -- LOL!

Okay, it's a bit of a stretch. Blame the Rutles. An Idle mind. Or something. I'll go back into hiding now...

My first thought when I saw the "I (heart) women" line was "Oh, is that how they drum up business these days?"

La Gringa, that's an inaccurate description of what's shown in the photograph. According to the surgeon performing the surgery, the hand flopped out and he tucked it back in - no thrusting, no reaching.

Ledasmon is correct.

If I might add, the surgeon has confirmed there was no reaching at all (mother and unborn child were, of course, under anaesthetic). And the photographer has added a disclaimer to the photo that it was "only his opinion of what happened."

If you google Snopes fetal photo/urban legend there is a plausible digest of the above.

(Sorry, my linking is glitched at the moment!)
