Dear Dawn,
Thank you for your kind words about Eleanor. Only God, and now Eleanor, know how many babies were saved from abortion as a result of Eleanor and the wonderful people at Bridge to Life.
May God bless the future work of Bridge to Life.

Fallen Sparrow,
Thank you very much for words that have deeply touched my heart. Today, being The Feast of the Most Holy Rosary, a banner hung next to the Sanctuary with words from Mother Teresa that said that a country that accepts abortion is the poorest of the poor. I have accepted the Catholic teaching that abortion is a mortal sin, is murder, but I have not been able to find a way to act on this belief, though I have believed that this is the issue which could take up the last years of my life.
I heard Clarence Thomas on 'Sixty Minutes', a show I don't watch, but stumbled across, mention that his confirmation hearing was about abortion. The interviewer was in disbief, but Thomas was clear and thoughtful. For whatever reason the Democratic Party is committed to abortion.
I am realizing with each day the deadly poison that abortion is for women and for men and for a nation. Your information about Eleanor Ruder is a feast. Thank you. With God's Grace I will find a way to show love and work for the unborn. May Our lady of the Holy Rosary bless you. Keep up your writing witness.

Eleanor was the inspiration for me to get involved with saving the lives of unborn children. She was energetic, loving and selfless. A tireless worker for God. Thank you Eleanor for all of the lives you have saved and for all of the volunteers that you have encouraged to do God's will. You will be missed, greatly.
God Speed,
Love, Elizabeth
