i have noticed that people today are way more willing to believe something if it comes from no authority or with no authority at all. I know people who are rabid atheist but believe (when pressed) in a shadowy idea of "destiny" and others still who belive there is no God yet believe in Numerology without any idea as to how this system works or why it would work if there was noone behind it. I think there is an instinct in us all to belive but we become prejudice against the truth
