Dawn, this latest update has me grinning! Isn't it amazing how God uses illness, job stresses, etc., to work to the good? All it takes is for us to trust and submit to Him, and to rest in that peace that defies our understanding. Amen!

Good action plan w/regard the remaining thyroid tissue. If further surgery is indicated, get er done and move on. Throughout it all, Dawn, stay feisty, take good care, and know we will keep you in our prayers ALWAYS. We love you and support your labors!

Dawn, my prayers are with you. Please look into the support groups offered by Thyca.org, they are really invaluable. I was diagnosed in 2004 and became a support group co-facilitator in August of 2006. There's every reason to expect that you'll have a great recovery, but if you hit a bump in the road, Thyca is a great place to find answers and someone to talk to who has been through it all.

My blog chronicles my experiences with thyroid cancer, which atypically required additional surgery and two radiation treatments, but I'm two and a half years from my last treatment, and like you, having the happiest time of my life.
