I finally met Zally after waiting nearly 35 years. It was the last night of my honeymoon trip to Canada. Anne and I went to have dinner at Chez Piggie and I spotted him over at a table talking to a regular. However, despite being awestruck I managed to tell him how big a fan I was and mentioned some Spoonful trivia. Zally was great. A real shock to have him leave just a year later.
