My next bag I am going to do, thank you again.
You know, I have been blaming bloglines for not updating your blog and somehow it was inadvertantly deleted from my Bloglines!-Doh!
Yep, your dining room looks like mine except for the paper bag of recycled newspapers!

I like this! I just may have to make this my first felted project, it's a style that I could really use. Thanks for sharing it!
Also, be ready to jump your postal-person, who should be showing up soon with a box of wool for you... I've sent you an email about it too.

I really like the rings you have used for the adding the strap - cool idea, never seen it before. Do you crochet them in? Are they curtain rings? Liz

I have started this bag!
I've been kool-aide dying wool for about a year, and have only used maybe 2 oz, so I've got an excuse to use more!
I'm using Paton's Wool Yarn, too, so it's going to be colorful, but I'm excited!
Thanks for sharing the pattern!

Hi Dawn.
I love your pattern for the felted memo bag and after seeing it I began rummaging through my mounds of yarn to begin creating my own. Your directions are written very clearly, however, I am having a difficult time once I get to the "flap" portion. At row 1, at the end of your instructions, am I suppose to dc 3 tog two times and then repeat from *to* or am I suppose to repeat from *to* twice and then continue across ending with one cluster? I have tried both ways and still the bag looks off. Please HELP!!! I can't wait to finish this bag to see how it turns out.
Thanks so much for the help and the awesome pattern!!

Dawn-
I had the same problem with the flap as Amy-any corrections would help-I tried it every which way.

I love this bag, Dawn! I'm making it as my first attempt at a felting project!
The flap problem other people were having - if you do a 3 dc dec at the beginning and end of the rows instead of the 3 dc cluster, it works out the way it should.

I had the same problem with the flap as Amy and Deneen. I just did 3 dc to end and started with 3dc after I turned and ch 2 then I started * to *

I made this bag-it is gorgeous !! I did it in lime green and used a long, slim scarf for the handle with the same color green in the print. When I carry this bag, strangers stop me to find out where I got it- they love it. I am doing a lime green and pink one now and it is turning out great too! Like this pattern as well as any I have done--a real favorite. Thanks for sharing this pattern !

Hello, I am making the bag, and am stumped at the flap portion, Isn't the cheveron supposed to have some part of the row with like skip one or two stitches in order to get the wave in the pattern, I am an avid crocheter and as I said I am stumped to the directions with the flap, please advise. I had downloaded this in January when it states that you have corrected the patten, can anyone help me, as I am just facinated with the felting process.
Thanks, Sue
