Gravatar "I believe that the sensibilities of peaceful Muslims, along with their right to believe what they wish about God, should be respected. Regardless of a person's views about God, Christ taught that each individual must be respected and allowed to make his or her own decisions in matters of faith."

Wow. Kudos to you for stating this. Really.

Gravatar Julie,

My church made me say it.

Gravatar Do we get any points for flushing copies of newsweek?

Gravatar Careful ... we might have journalists rioting next.

Gravatar Too much for me at this hour. See ya's tomorrow.

Gravatar Did you know you can be exceuted in Saudi for having a Bible?

Gravatar TJ,

Indeed, the idea of tolerance hasn't gotten much traction in the Muslim world.

Gravatar TJ, the same thing happens in Berkeley too!

Wow, DC quite a thread. I was going to bless y'all with my two cents, but it's all been said.

Gravatar Gordo,

Dang ... always wanting some Cranky Neowisdom. Maybe next time. Thanks for dropping by, bro.

Gravatar I'll weigh in tomorrow (today?)

This one might be fun. Hope you check your old posts, DC . . .

Gravatar I've got no promlem with Muslims. Islamists are a different matter.

Personally, I think that we need to treat the Korans given to the detainees at Gitmo the same way that the copies of Mein Kampf given to Nazi POWs during WWII were treated.

Oh.

That's right.

We didn't allow them to have a copy of Mein Kampf.

Sounds good to me, given that national Socialism and Islam ism are both about making the world safe for genocide and anti-Semitism.
