Wow! Now this is a good post!
My senator is Chuck McHagel (C-Nebraska). You could have substitued his name for McCains.

Good repsonse to those questions, but it seems that FNC was over-represented. Hmmm... nevermind.

I had a question or two for you, but I guess you were too well-coached on who to call on (now that Gannon is out of the picture).

Hey PW ...
I am sure you did ... Go ahead, ask away for real, my man.
Dan-o ... we are counting on you red, red Nebraskans to hold the Hagelnator's feet to the fire.
And Greg, I couldn't help it, they were just anxious to talk to me. What can I say?

Jeremy Bol, from BNN,Excellent points all around Mr?/Mrs? Cutter. Knowing exactly what McCain is, and yes, I do know he is no conservative, what would you say to his party swap? Maybe he could take his rightful place behind Billary in exchange for someone a bit more to the right of things, maybe Joe Leiberman? He's more to the right of things than McCain is.
Just for the record, I have yet to see someone that "claims" they are in the middle that actually "is" in the middle. There is no way in hell that I would vote McCain into office. Most of what I believe in centrism revolves around the fact that neither the right or the left have all the answers. Currently, it appears the right extremes (not extremists in the sense of terror) are closer to the facts than does the extremes of the left. Sometimes there's even a viable compromise that will work. It's not always, but sometimes.
I would like to say that I hoped the compromise option for the judicial nominees would work, but I see now that the compromise would invariably be destroyed by extremists (and I mean that in the true lefty terrorist sense.) (Originally, I had hoped we could see people grow a pair and do something besides cloture. I was hoping for a lock-in. Apparently the republican side of congress doesn't have the guts for even one filibuster breaker.)

Nice job, Jeremy. The way you describe your views (neither right nor left has a truth lock) I can certainly handle.
It's heartening to hear you on McCain's case, too.
Like I said, "great American ...

The big killer for me is his his views on the blogosphere being HIS property. WTF is that about?!? That alone is enough to throw me off.
The way I see it is if we're stuck with the "party" system they should be "party" or declare independent....centrist independent.

Are you ever gonna have a press conference without a scuffle? That little rat Michael Kinsley knocked my diet Dr. Pepper all over me. You sure bring out the worst in everybody.
BTW, you call that a buffet?

Tiberius,
You mad man. Good point. Will try and ramp it up next time.
Nick, easy on McFly. He needs his eyeglass prescription upgraded again. ... That was embarassing to see you running around screaming how the salsa was too hot and taking a swig of the reporters' beer. I think it was just an excuse to get limbered up before the presser.

Who spiked the reporters punch with Tanguray? I think it had something to do with the scuffle. All I am going to say is that Nickie Goomba, he throws a weak left but his right compensates for that. My head still hurts. I guess I shouldn't have asked him for his address to write Maria Goomba for advice. I don't think he gets me.

DCm Frank from TS/SB News here ... I appreciate you answering my question before I ask and doing so in just a fine manner, but I have two follow ups...
1) When will the production of the DC in 2012 bumper stickers be completed?
2) Upon your election, when can we see you making the Nationals move to Hay Market or Chain Bridge Rd to get them out of the District of Crime where they do not get stolen by Tulsa or Brownsville?

Jess ... Nick is really protective of the Goombette. Tread lightly, man.
And Frank, I am not a candidate. (But I am considering some DC gear. We'll see, since I have the second coolest logo in the 'sphere.) Now, I might consider a gig like Pallatin in Episode III. You know, emperor. And if I attain such a lofty title/position, Frank, I will make you Minister of D.C. baseball. How's that?

Truthfully I would never write it. Goomba's famiglia is not a target even for a joke. It was a funny thought, considering I was mainly going to pick on myself.
