Happy One Year Day, DC! I was reading over it all and remembered the "name change" discussion. he he he. See, Daisy Cutter is who you are buddy!
Someday you might acknowledge being wrong about something? I can hear the explosion now!!
I guess you could change the color of the site, but black is what you are, so why?
And do you want to re-open the gender issue? That was pretty funny actually.
And thanks to you as well. You've been a good friend.

This site is a daily stop for me. No joke, DC, I have read your rants and so many have touched me, tickled me and inspired my passions. If only my ex-wives coulda done some of that.
You quickly became a blogging institution with a damned healthy following. You've now got a lot to live up to.
You, Sir, are a great American. There is no higher praise.

The imagery, allusions and attitudes here are unmatched (ex-wives standing side by side with moonbat feces and John Kerry, military metaphors, lefto-lunacy; gracious nods to youths squandering their intelligence, and more)..and all while still retaining your dignity.
I know a lot about losing my mind and dignity, and know also how hard, nay, nearly impossible, a year of running with the night creatures of The Left can be without standing naked before the jaw of a speeding snow plow. You just want to end it all.
Surviving is easy, prevailing is hard. This is a great blog. I'm privileged not to have been banned yet, like I was from Polipundit. Screw them.

Appreciate the great comments, here and before. Julie, Goomba, Rhod, you all make it rewarding for me.
I mean this: You do give me too much credit. But I thank you, nonetheless. And ... "standing naked in front of a speeding snow plow" ... the horrah.
And Sherry ... DANG!! ... I knew I was forgetting some one. Thank you for stopping by, for your links, your encouragement. You were there in the 38-comment firefight. You're great.

Rita Cosby MSNBC: So tell us DC, how does it feel to be old? In blog years of course.
DC: I refuse to answer that, I am young. Give me life liberty and Greta Van Sustren. By the way Rita, I liked you better when you were at fox and wore fishnet stockings.
Rita Cosby: DC, you were not supposed to talk about that weekend in Port Arthur. Damn you DC, Damn you all to hell.
DC: Go with god or Joe Scarbro.

Recall that we once found some common ground.

DC:
You truly are a Great American and I wish you again a wonderful anniversary. I read your post today and it brought back great memories of reading your posts since I found you last fall.
I just finished listening to the President speak at Fort Bragg with continued resolve to see this effort through in Iraq, with the obvious support of those brave military men and women in the audience. It never ceases to amaze me that these young men and women "get it" while so many of the old cronies (forgive me if I offend any of the older generation, myself included) like Kennedy, Byrd, and Kerry who just can't or won't "get it."
As you know, my son returned safely, by God's grace, from Iraq where he fought the enemy alongside many brave soldiers. He was with the first Stryker Brigade that was sent to Iraq, the second has been there since last October, and the third will go in August. These brave soldiers are an inspiration to me and the stories of their continued bravey inspire many. Two of these men - Scott Thorne and Mike Oreskovic - continue to inspire those who are helping them recover and you can read their stories at strykernews.com.
Thanks again for everything you do, your continued dedication, and obvious love for your country as these brave ones appreciate support from true Patriots like you.
Your blog friend,
Gaye

DC,
Congratulations on your one year blogiversary! It couldn't happen to a nicer explosive device. You know, I actually thought my blog was older than yours when we first spoke. I had no idea you were coming up on your one year.
Man, it's been so long...I've alomst forgot the PP ball joke. How's it go again...(joke, just kidding. PLEEZE don't.)

JR ... who are you calling old?
Nick ... I am not, will be ... a candidate for Congress.
J, Thanks, man, for everything. It's been fun and you've been a big part of it
Tiberius ... You are a mad man. But a good bloke. I am sure that some may not understand your deranged sense of humour (note the incorrect Aussie spelling), but I do. I think. You have made me cry, but not in the same way that you make Leftists cry. Thanks for checking in and for hanging in there with an ol' softie like me. And when I land on Mooloolaba Beach to start my world tour, I will look forward to seeing you.
