Thanks for the note, DC. It's funny to talk to Catfish on the phone right after he left, and then see how eloquent he became when translating to the written word.
It's a darned fine report, sparing us the embellishment and close camera angles that you get on the evening news.

The bottom line as I see it is this, (yes, it may be professional, and well organized, especially when it is funded by moveon.org., and in part by the self styled communist George Soros.)these people do not want the United States to win this war, in fact they want us to lose it.
The perversion here is the left, siding with a Right-wing-religious organization, Radical Islam, in hopes of a defeat for the Great Satin, America.
From your report it does look as if they have taken a new tone, but when you hear the rhetoric these people use it becomes apparent real quick that nothing has changed since their demonistrations of the '60s.
I don't believe this demonstration by Ms. Sheehan, trying to play off the sympathies of other Mothers who don't feel the way she does. She has totally discounted the fact that her, son enjoyed the Military, so much so he had re-enlisted.
Moveon.org discounts the fact that there is indeed success in Iraq, and that Military Re-enlistments are way up this they can't deal with and the main stream media will not report this fact. They also will not report the good things happening in Iraq. They support anything that will cause a problem for the troops, for the country winning the war, i.e., they want a time table for troop withdrawal, this is BS, this is just what the Terrorists want to hear. this is the same thing john kerry and jane fonda did to the Vietnam veterans, gave aid and comfort to the enemy.
I don't believe for a New York second, that the protestors have taken on a new tone, just the same old shit, repackaged, and sold to the 21st generation of malcontents who have nothing better to do than to say, President Bush lied.
This is the same group that used to call themselves anti-anti-communists, the likes of Tom Hayden and the new bunch of hate America first.
This they do well. Otherwise I don't turst these Marxist malcontents as far as I can throw them.

Mark,
Right on. It is amazing the lengths the hate-America crowd will go to ... but we'll still prevail.

I don't have a long comment, rather, Catfish... Thanks for your service in a brutal war. WW1 was a war that featured trench warfare and chemical weapons...
I have no words to thank you for your service. I am a vet from Gulf War I... our war was like a computer game.

Aaron,
I am a former Marine, but ... I am not quite as old as Nickie, who gallantly fought in the Spanish American War.

Nickie was a brass hat in the Italian Alps in WWI, also. Man, the stories he can tell!
