DC:
This is Goombaesque. Hilarious, where it isn't wretched. There's a moral in here somewhere. It might be that what early twentieth century liberalism help to eliminate, which was ignorance, nativism, diffuse hatred and the corrupting effects of poverty, they've recreated within themselves. They just don't have any excuses anymore, especially poverty.

I think I'm going to tear up, Rhod.
"Goombaesque".
That's about the nicest thing any one ever said about this blog.
And put your hand over your hearts when you say, "Goomba".

Ya know, DC, I just read the post at the link over again, and the guy is absolutely right! Why I couldn't have put it better myself. The guys he's talking about are *%@^**!+$$# dopes, real ^&*%$#@ idiots! They need to be voted out! At last! A lefty I can agree with.

Ted was rockin'. It was almost like moral outrage. Unreal. Guy was unhinged. It was great stuff indeed.

This is when it gets to be fun to watch. They are beginning to eat their young.
Dick The Turbin was on Fox the other day talking about the upcoming filibuster, he said 'well we can't win it but we are going to do it anyway', just to make a point, which is ... No one really knows for sure, perhaps to mollify their extreme leftist base,of which there are many but really the 'Kook fringe' and these former icons, (of a party that once had some credibility) as they would like to known as, have offered no solutions, sided with known enemies of this country and try to undermine the President who is fighting a war, have turned out to be, afterall, nothing more than a bunch of bedwetting pussies, who do nothing more than whine about how the rights of the terrorists are being violated.
But as the President said today,in Tennessee at the Grand Old Opry, "Let me talk Texan, If you talk to Al Qeida from this country, we want to know about it."
The State of the Union speech last night, he batted one issue out of the park after another, and all the whiney ass dems could do was to sit there an pout,...Indeed they have lost it.

Mark,
I heard that "talk Texan" line today, and I think it's great. They are dialing in with the Rove Hack-o-tron and getting ready for Election Day. Will be interesting.
This will be, I think, the toughest election day to date for the Bush Admin. If they could add seats again ... for the third time ... it would be unprecedented.
If the Demos keep at it, it is possible. We'll see.
