Gravatar No doubt your friend has the endangered Wormus Paulhacketus centipede on his property, and has no right to develop it.

Twenty years is the time, usually, when all the battles have been fought, and the road ahead is smooth and flat. With a few tolls...

And yeah, why did Hackett think that he rose above the level of TOOL for the local machine? I wonder if this means something more than just another lefty past his expiration date. Could be.

Gravatar ...You better get back here right away, DC. Just found out that in 1935 a relief statue of Mohammed was added to the frieze on The Supreme Court Building. We're in big trouble now.

Gravatar Congrats on the anniversary, DC. Considering today's culture, it is no wonder that the History Channel has asked me how to contact you. They want to produce their next episode of 'Modern Marvels' around your marriage.

I forwarded your e-mail tothe producer, but did so with the suggestion that your story might better be showcased in 'Digging for the Truth' as something smells fishy here...

You sure it's 20?

LOL...

At any rate, yes, sir...some Marines are thick headed. Thankfully, few are thick enough to cozy up to (and be used by) the party that is represented by the likes of former vice presidents who skip around making paid speeches in the Middle East, blathering on about the imaginary arrest, tossing of the key and mistreatment of Arab males by the United States. Hell, we are forbidden from paying attention to them in airports...

There are thankfully few Paul Hacketts for the loons to parade around with just long enough to claim they are strong on security.

Many cheers and safe travels, sir.

Gravatar A quick touch and go ...

Rhod,

So maybe this leads to a permanent alliance of Militant Islam and the ACLU ... Get pics of Mohammed out of the culture, and then the ACLU learns the dirty little secret, that they are promoting religion. But that's okay, you see, as long as it is an ally in the war on the West.

Steve,

Thanks for your comment. Yes, there are a lot of things that the postmodern left doesn't understand. They cock their heads at me, for sure. But that's okay. I know them like the back of my hand, which I like to give, from time to time.

Keep up the great work at threatswatch.org.

Gravatar Bigger, less simplistic picture here.

Gravatar Charlie:

Your "bigger, less simplistic picture" is still done in crayon.

Gravatar I like this from Charlie's link:

"the party wasn't afraid of Hackett, they (sic) were afraid of an untested candidate in a high profile Senate race".

Hmm. Two different things in one, like Certs. Hackett was okay, his "untested candidate" doppellganger wasn't.

Hackett is a wierd entity. He's TWO human beings, with only ONE of his entities being objectionable, while the one with the name "Hackett" would have been a successful candidate, but they can't be separated...but, oh never mind.

There are other impossible-things-to-believe-before-breakfast contained in Charlie's link to The Daily Kos. And they call it analysis.

Gravatar Hell, if Murtha can be elected, Hackett just has to wait his turn. Even Swiftee got a shot at the big prize...

Gravatar In Ohio,( You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.) Hacket played to his audience, if it was conservative he played up his service, it it was contrary he played to that, and to that the 'loser' confirmed his true colors, he lost.

But like Murtha, he has trashed the country he has served, all for political gain, and that is the worst reason. For some reason the left, and these twin bozos seem to think if you serve you have a free shot and condemnming your own country.

Both have said, they support the troops but the mission is messed up and we can't win, we need to get out, NOW, how the hell is that supporting the troops. Their rhetoric gives aid and comfort to the enemy, he clearly sees that we are not united, and has been given, a second wind. If there is any similarities to Vietnam it is the Leftist homefront supporting the Enemy of the United States.

Murtha and Hackett don't belong in congress they belong in Jail.

Gravatar From the looks of Murtha, Mark, he has about three minutes to wipe his chin before he's on a marble slab.

He had a brief shining moment licking Nancy Pelosi's stiletto heels for a shot in front of the camera. Now's he's dogsh**. He just doesn't seem very smart...just a declining man with the need to be important for once. I don't think he got what he wanted, and I hope what he got hurts.

I also don't think Hackett will be heard from again, unless it's at a local level where he gets to decide park fees and the cost of dog licenses.

When ambitious liars find that the people they lied FOR are lying to them, and then dispose of them for not lying well enough or about the right things, there's no road back.

Dogs have fleas. Remember that, Murtha and Hackett.

Gravatar PS: The one thing that can save Hackett, if Charlie is right, is to have that operation which removes the "untested candidate" without injuring the Hackett. Sort of a "transpolitical" operation where the offending parts are removed and the patient is free to be what he is.

Gravatar "When ambitious liars find that the people they lied FOR are lying to them, and then dispose of them for not lying well enough or about the right things, there's no road back."

Very well said Rhod. Almost poetic and very true. Joe Wilson also appears to be a disposed-of liar.

Gravatar Cruiser:

Joe Plame is an even better example than the Hack. Perfect.

Gravatar Back in the saddle. Great thread, all ... with even a visit from ol' Charlie. Hey, PW, I was linking Mother Jones. I wasn't saying it was good.

Rhod, you crack me up with the crayon reference.
