I have lost any modicum of respect I ever had for the BCS, after Watching no.25 Old Miss stomp no.7 Texas tech.
Mark, Tech does that sort of stuff all the time. They often lose away from home when they are favored. I am hoping Texas is excited to play the Buckeyes. I know Ohio State is going to be ready to play, and Texas had better match their intensity.

Thanks for your thoughts on the new year. I wholeheartedly agree that we make our own joy and happiness. Fortunately for you and me, we know that our joy does not really rest here anyway and it is always in the Lord, now and forever. Knowing that, and the fact that He is ultimately in control always helps change your perspective from dark to light. That is how He wants it. All Right, the Horns did it. I started watching the game and Texas got off to a slow start. I don't know what Tressel was doing with the two QBs but Quarterbacking by committee is never a good idea.

It was a great game, and Ohio State came to play. I saw this as a trap for Texas, because Ohio St. had a lot to prove with all the negative stuff being said about the Big 10 and their past failures. Texas' staff did a good job getting the team ready. Colt did his magic. Ohio State's defense gave up a lot of yards, but they did a good job with Texas ... except when they were huffing and puffing with the no huddle in the second half.
Pryor, if he ever learns how to throw, could really, really be something. I thought Boeckmann was outstanding and played a key role in the game. His pass on 3rd and 13 in the third when Texas was taking control was huge. Great game.
