Drunk Talk

Gravatar Dude, you *totally* stole "my idea". You creep! Try taking on the King of Pizza Hut, eh?

That said, I share your bummed-outedness about NOLA. What a vacation that would and still can be (right?). The KoK will visit again, even if it's just the two (but no less) of us.

I, too, sometimes feel like I'm too old to become introspective, but that's what's happened (sort of). It's better than never, and honestly, one of the joys of life - I mean, what's better than learning, whether it's about yourself or otherwise?

2006 - the year we all go sky diving? Who's in? :P

Gravatar I don't mean to get in yer bidness or sound like a cheerleader, but I'm 42 and just started college after a botched surgery changed my whole life. So my perspective is there is probably plenty 'o' time - for everything.

Gravatar Don't forget:

Corky St. Clair hates you and your big ASS FACE!

Gravatar The cool thing is, you don't have to grow up. The mid life crisis is when the brain starts its last fight for sanity, and most people only give in temporarily. Don't give in; be a kid forever. I plan on it.

I've already posted my New Year's Resolutions on my blawg. I'm usually not one to do the traditional thing, but the thing about blogs is, you make a statement that at least a couple people are witness to, in a semi-permanent medium (as permanent as your server and ISP). Being written, and communicated, it takes on more solidity. The inertia in that kind of formal resolution is perhaps a more effective method of self-change.

There is no inertia in bad decisions or guilt or sadness or depression except for habit. It's easier to stop being depressed than it is to stop smoking. Break your habits and be happy again.
