I loved the line they had about The Omega Man: "The last man alive is... Charlton Heston. Yep, it's as dystopian as it gets."
Granted, the movie isn't a bummer because society begins to fix itself, but I may have included V for Vendetta, if for no other reason than Natalie Portman still looks amazing when bald.

Hey, I read We. Much better than the snoozefest 1984, imo.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick was omitted.

I thought V for Vendetta was kind of lame, and for some reason I'm not on the Natalie Portman bandwagon: She does nothing for me.
Pitch Black I liked, but it's well outside the dystopian category, I think.

La Jetée is amazing. And it's short--in the time it'd take to watch much lamer movies, you could watch La Jetée 4 times....

Dave, just saw Idiocracy over the weekend. I think that needs to be added into the "Glaring Omissions" category as well.

It's in my Netflix queue... hopefully I'll get to it soon. I'd like to go see Children of Men too, since it's getting some good reviews.
