There are no words......you're right about Sotomayor; was it Jim Inhofe who refused to see her because he knew she'd be appointed and he didn't have time to talk with someone when there was no point? Case closed.
As for Mary Jo, we ALL need to remember her..it's when the music stopped in America; when we somehow continued to vote for a murderer, someone who'd leave the scene of a death he caused, someone whose friends (I just watched a video on the subject at Maggie's Notebook blog) bemoaned Teddy's chances to the presidency more than her death on the very day they brought her up in the car out of the water.
God bless her and her family, some of whom are still alive to grieve her death, which is the very least WE can do.

Re: Mary Jo. Lot's of people DO care, but not one of them is a Democrat or a Kennedy. In fact, the Democrats and Kennedys are rather proud that they, like OJ, got away with murder.
The state of Massachusetts is proud of it, too.

Why bother is exactly what I've been thinking and saying. I actually don't know why we bother with any of it. B.O.'s been steamrolling us since day one and nobody on the Hill has the power or the nads to stop him. The MSM still slobbers over him and the left calls all of us "conspiracy theorists" or crazies. It's all a diversion. She would have been nominated no matter what.
We have much more pressing issues now that they are trying to divert with the sotomayor nomination such as healthcare and the rest of the liberal agenda they will push through during their 3 day work week.
Sotomayor is a dummy, though.
I have issues with Sotomayor too and am worried how her biased opinions will effect us. There is no doubt in my mind that it will, sooner or later.
Call me racist, as I am sure some will, but I don't think she would even be considered if she wasn't Hispanic!
