I know the mean to do what is right, but there is a reason the majority of Liberals are under 25, and only the most doltish of the breed remain so beyond that. They mean well but don't think anything through.
I think the problem is they DO think it through. They've all been educated in the liberal universities and truly believe the BS they spout. This is why they can't win an argument, when you start to make sense and bother them with FACTS, they're brains short circuit and they start name calling instead of debating. They've never before been presented with real facts or the other side of any issue.

My husband is small business (includes self-employed).
So, right now I have $600 a month to feed a family of seven. The Cap and Trade thing will raise the cost of energy $2,000 on the average family (we're an above average, so it will cost us more, but we'll stick with $2,000 for now). That takes $167 a month out of my grocery bill.
Okay, I'll have $433 a month for groceries for the seven of us.
And now he wants to tax us again to provide health coverage for everyone else.

Ahhhhhh, welcome to Obamunism. He'll tax us all to death to pay for the welfare cases, and then we'll all end up on welfare from being taxed to death.
About 5 years ago my secretary got a stray email by mistake from a guy in Germany and she asked me to translate it. The basic gist was that he was tired of people hopping the border into Germany just to sponge off the free healthcare, and that they had bankrupted the economy to pay for the abuses.
If you think we have a problem with illegals now, just wait till Obamunism takes full effect.
Sadly, few Americans realize what freedom really is or why it is important. As long as they can live where they want, say what they want, do what they want, go where they want, eat what they want, drive what they want, they'll be happy.
Only thing is, they won't be able to do those things in our soon to come Marxist society.
Then they'll just think, "That's the way it is...oh well.

Let's hope there is still time to stop this dismantling of our foundations of liberty and freedom. Obama makes the perfect "Joker".
