One wonders what the Democrat's 'proportionate response' to a nuclear attack is going to be.
If the Islamists ever struck an American or Western European city with a nuclear device, all bets would be off..say goodbye to Mecca and any strategic place the Muslims hold dear.
There would also be a concerted cull of any suspected Jihadist, whether through deed or guilt by association or rhetoric.
It's a dangerous game these men play, because they might get the first punch in, but the flurry they receive back will be swift and extreme.
The successful nuclear terrorist attack on the US would leave the terrorist organization responsible with a problem.
Assume a worst case scenario, or for the Islamofascist terrorists a best case scenario:
Destroying a city of 10 million people would leave the other 290 million Americans alive. If we think the American people were united in righteous rage and resolve after Pearl Harbor, and after 9/11...it would be as nothing compared to the rage and resolve after a nuclear attack on an American city.
The regime that sponsored them or harbored them, be it Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, whomever, would be destroyed, along with all of the military and much of the civil infrastructure of the nation on which the regime is a parasite. Probably, a large number of civilians would unavoidably be killed also, as our Islamofascist enemies, being the cowardly barbaric swine that they are, have a propensity to hide behind civilians.
