Gravatar Greetings:

Back in my Army days, my favorite platoon sergeant told me the following:

There's a statue of an infantryman with his back pack and bayoneted weapon in the infantry training center at Fort Dix, NJ. The name of the statue is "The Ultimate Weapon." In this business, you don't have nothin' till some 20 year old with a long rifle tells you you have it.

I hope they are all keeping their powder dry and their hatchets as clean as a whistle.

Gravatar Where's the Talli body count? Lottsa shootin' but not a dead Tali in sight. Call me old fashoned but I believe military efficiency is measured in enemy KIAs.

Gravatar They left the dead Tali pics out WL. There were hundreds killed in summer 2006 ... so many in fact, that the press was questioning the brutal tactics, chosing to feel sorry for the poor dears.

By now, the dead Islamist count in both Afghanistan and Iraq is enormous.

Check this out for a taste of how it's done ... if you like big guns:

Gravatar Isn't that something?! The West is at war with barbarians at our gates ... and much of our Western press are more concerned about our "brutality", our troops far higher effectiveness at killing our barbarian enemies than the barbarians are at killing our soldiers?

At this point, I don't have much respect left for our press. As with all freedoms, with Freedom of the Press comes responsibilities in it's exercise. These include the respnsibility to be professionally competent, honest and unbiased. Much of the MSM are showing none of these responsibilities.
