Gravatar What were the sponsors of this sign trying to do? Were they ham-fistedly promoting their own barbarism and taking it for granted that no-one would notice the descrepancy between the English and Arabic commentary, or were they trying to find out what sort of reaction there would be to something like this so they could judge their own tactical position?

Gravatar The religious goal of fundamentalist Islam is to dominate all else ... period. It's in the doctrine ... and its 1400 years old. Every single place on earth that has a large enclave of Muslims pushing up against another cultural/religious group experiences this fact ... every single place.

Islam dominates by constantly testing the boundaries and pushing the limits of every culture it comes in contact with. The Windsor sign is just a tiny example of this ... they are testing us. If nothing is done, then a new standard will have been reached and we can expect a lot more of the same.

It is always harder to go backward and reclaim ground lost ... and Muslim extremists know this.

Gravatar ... by the way, imagine if Canada had huge Muslim enclaves like those in Europe ... we'd be happy to just have offensive signs put up.

Gravatar Yeah, I think they're trying to get us to neuter ourselves by first provoking an outrage and then counting on the predictable finger wagging sanctimoniousness of the multicult crowd
to lead to an increase in the level of self-censorship, at least amongst the MSM. It's a kind of preemptive strike against a political argument they don't want to have; although in this case it's more like handing your enemy's stupidest guardsmen a flamethrower and pointing him towards his own munitions dump.

Gravatar Ask a Windsor fire fighter who owns all the scruffy little corner stores or new cars which spontaneously catch fire when the payments are due.

Ask a Windsor insurance broker where most of the fire claims come from these days.

Detroit is no better...probably worse. It's surprising the Hezbollha flag does not fly at town hall in both cities.

Gravatar ...hey, as the marketing guru's know, sex sells.

I'm too sexy for my burka, I'm too sexy for my belt, I'm too sexy for...

Gravatar My old stomping ground, Windsor. Is that a CBS(Columbian Broadcasting System, ch 2) logo on the sign?

Gravatar ...as I said over at SDA and Shotgun, wouldn't it ironic if the billboard is facing east towards Mecca...

Gravatar Born in Windsor 43 years ago.
Left Windsor for Toronto 22 years ago.
Never want to return after seeing and hearing about how bad it is and has changed.
Time for people to wake up before its too late.

Gravatar Pete, and how is Toronto doing?

"seeing and hearing about how bad it is and has changed."

Last time I was in TO was in 1996 and before that in 1976. I didn't like what I saw in '96, so what's 06 look like?

Gravatar ...update, apparently the billboard will be 'taken down'.

Gravatar Hey fellas,

Anyone follow this Windsor Star story?

Hezbollah on the ground in Windsor? Scary stuff if you ask me.

Gravatar Mark,

I would guess, that wherever there is a large Muslim enclave, you will find a strong extremist element. If Windsor has a large Lebanese Muslim enclave, then I'd bet there is a strong exstremist element. That's why I (call it xenophobic if you wish), am opposed to immigration policy that concentrates huge Muslim populations in Western countries ... it is a recipe for disaster. It's like playing with fire.
