Has anyone posted a nice point-form summary of the issues? I've been following this fiasco, but somewhat intermittantly. I would like someone more knowledgable than me to that I can point to summarize it in no more than five or six points. It would be better for the politicians that way, too.
I wrote the PM on this and received a response - here is some of what they wrote....
At the federal level, the Canadian Human Rights Commission is the independent body responsible for administering the Canadian Human Rights Act. The Commission operates at arm's length from the Government and reports directly to Parliament. A person may file a complaint with the Commission if he or she believes that an individual or group within federal jurisdiction has engaged in a discriminatory practice.

IMHO is Warman acting like a certified fascist? Canada is now a fascist country? I bet American, European and Australian bloggers can mock Warman right into a straight jacket. Everyone in Canada must hear about this Warman and the HRC injustice!
This fellow in the HRC, Richard Warman, sounds like a totally wonderful human being who doesn’t have a huge chip on his shoulder or one evil bone in his whole fair-minded body.
He doesn’t at all sound like a sick and demented bastard who is angry
and bitter because he got his butt massively kicked in those elections years ago.
