Several years ago, during a severe drought, some guy come thru and tried to sell cloud seeding to increase rain fall. Farmers flocked to the meetings and almost bought it. Hubby come home and said, for 1000.00/section, we could be guaranteed 50% more rain than last year. I asked a simple question, how much rain did we get last year. 2 inches he replied so I asked, what good would 3 inches do for the crops, over a year at the cost of 2000.00 dollars. The snake oil salesman left town, with no money.
Like the commercial said, you can't fool mother nature.
