Very true. As the babyboomers start to retire, we will see a decrease in services, therefore immigrants will be brought in to fill the gaps.

The gaps are already opening; and in the very near future, we will need massive immigration to keep the welfare state viable ... Canada is slipping into crisis because it doesn't have enough workers. Already governments are begging folks to stay in the workplace longer ... Freedom 55 is bad news for all of us.

If, and it's a big if, we can draw immigrants from parts of the world that are favorable and somewhat developed in Liberal Democratic values, we may do fine. But, it's an incredibly big "if".
