Isn't that always the way? Judged by spectacularly shallow standards, the full ceremonial clothing becomes nothing more than a toss-off way to judge the man beneath the clothing.

Y'all just have to understand that Papa doesn't really care about the people. Now that he is elected, he doesn't want to be near us peons. I would say more, but I have to get to a VOTF meeting.

Maybe Papa would muse more often if his readers weren't inclined to wear lavender tights. He's not one to abet scandal.

Yes, when is papa going to muse again? He can't have forgotten his own sentiments in God and the World: "We can see how, in many matters in our lives, God wants to prod us into taking things a bit more lightly; to see the funny side of it; to get down off our pedestal and not to forget our sense of fun." The fancy dress is all very well and good, but the faithful want words as well as deeds!
