Oh I don't think we are supposed to like it at all. In fact some new legislation is before our esteemed decision makers which would mandate that all individuals should be experiencing at least mild displeasure with their job.

Gravatar You'll only like it if you don't think of it as work!

Gravatar no. emphatically.

Gravatar If you liked it, it wouldn't be called a "job". Job is a particularly hateful word. Squash it whenever you see it!

Gravatar The only time the word "job" should be used is when the word "blow" proceeds. "Hand" is acceptable, but only under duress.

I like my job, but not the fact that I am forced to work to survive. I would rather be writing full time. Now that's a job!

Gravatar No.

But, as a young man I once employed for a short time (I fired him for sending his CV to the rest of the company on work e-mail without asking me) said - "I'm a big fan of money".

And another, spotted on a tacky pillow in Clinton Cards: "Born to shop. Forced to work."

I don't know anyone who actually loves their job, and - importantly - gets a decent salary. The two do not go hand in hand.
