So can you point me to a post with backstory? Your mom's a Filipina, your dad's what? And you were born where? And they met how? It must be a very strange childhood to always somehow be a foreigner, in both of your homelands. I mean, all teenagers feel alienated for awhile because that's par for the course, but you seem to have gotten more of it than most. It does seem though that the experience has taught you a sweet kind of humility and gentleness rather than hardheartedness and surface indifference.
