Gravatar I really enjoyed reading that Kris! It's horrible to hear about what you and your mom went thru... especially heard to hear about how your uncle and your grand dad treated your mother. I feel bad for your mom [even tho you said your mom's "crazy", that I totally understand cuz my mom's the same way! ]!

And y'know, after I read the entire post, sounds like you've been doing a lot of growing up! Sometimes we do things for others, and other times we do things for ourselves - it's a good balance, and you've been doing both. You're a great person with a loving heart [I know cuz we've met! haha!] and we don't always do the right things, but that's just part of our journey to self-discovery.

It's no doubt that you and your mom love each other very much. Sounded like you've already made the decision for you mom to stay with her sister. I think that's a great idea. Florida isn't so far away from DC.

I know you've gone thru some really, really rough patches in your life, but knowing that those are the exact things that made who you are today. Anyway, I didn't mean my comment here to be a 'sub-post' to yours. But what you said really touched me. Thanks for that.

And y'know I was just blogging right this minute before I came to your entry, and I was writing about 'plummber's crack'! Nice contrast eh?

Happy Thursday Kris. xoxo

Gravatar There are times when your writting really chockes me up.

Part of it is reading how your mother was treated and how unfair it was for both you and her and part of it that you are just so open about it.

If you were ever to write a book about your life I would buy it.

Thanks for posting.
