I don't dance, DI ... but I do rise early in the morning to get the early bus to work. It's dark, save for a few street lights. So I can look at the stars, breath in the early morning fragrances, listen to the breeze pushing through the trees I walk through on my way to the stop, and say my morning prayers.
We still have that, DI, no matter what the Socialists are planning for us. Thanks for the post!
Miradena, this is a very beautiful and uplifting post. Thanks! We definitely remember to take time to enjoy the many gifts God continues to give us. There's another silver lining in reference to the "power wielding Jack-Asses" (LOL!)that we may be overlooking: Although we may have to tighten our belts for the next four years, at least Americans will finally realize what the Democratic party has become. I hate the fact that it takes something like this to wake people up, but I guess we all have to suffer in order for that to happen.

Our Dear Leader is on a 'Hope and Change Train' running on steroids. Seemingly just about every other day they announce some crazy scheme to 'fix' America. The Democrats' behavior of today will help educate many of today's youth about the dangers of the Radical Left. Just like Dhimmi Carter did for many of us.
Hopefully this madness will only last a couple of years, four years at most.

Admittedly, I am equally mystified by the Obama/Unicorn phenomenon.
The psychedelic, phallic symbolism seems an appropriate mascot for the acid-trip that is Obama. However, (sans the hearts and flowers), the truly mysterious, one-horned creature threatening the Republican agenda isn't the Unicorn - it's the RINO -

Additionally, I want to credit DI for taking all of the pictures in this video - as well as all of the snow-covered video footage of me snowmobiling with him, in both of the above videos. I hope I managed to snag a few good clips of him, as he soared past me - but I don't think I could ever do his ability, or his passion for sledding, justice.
On another note, I can surely relate to your snow deprived LA climate, having been transplanted to the south for what seems like two lifetimes. Maybe it's time for a blogger convention in the Great, White North
