Democrats well understand that terrorists are merely getting in touch with their feminine side when they blow up Marines in Lebanon, destroy the Kobar Towers, attack the USS Cole, obliterate two embassies, destroy the World Trade Center, drive a plane into the Pentagon, and make a fair attempt to destroy the U. S. Capital Building. After all, it’s all Bush’s fault – there was no terrorism prior to Bush’s election to the White House.
No, what IS important to Democrats is that some bird that only 1% of the global population has ever seen has a severe case of methane release-anal drip syndrome, which imperils the Earth’s Ozone layer. Consequently, it is understandable that Democrats pride themselves on reducing funds for anti-terrorist activities, and divert them to find a cure for the Antarctic Shit Bird.
You know this country is in serious trouble when voters think that electing moronic democrats will advance the cause of human liberty.
I think this is just another example as to how unserious these people are. Remember the term "gravitas"? That was a term the left bandied about to try to explain why Bush lacked the seriousness to be a good president. Well, it's screamingly plain that the Democrats have no "gravitas," but apparently that doesn't count anymore. Funny how the bar gets lowered once you have power, isn't it?
Yes, Angel... and they don't seem to even recognize how serious a danger their actions and inactions actually pose. I can't imagine the their moves are to deliberately undermine, as we all here rely upon the same stability to exist. It has got to be either a delusion or pure lack of thinking further than 'today' (both perhaps?). When we lose our will to defend what was won with generations of blood and sacrifice, it will be taken from us by those who have the will to dominate.
And Mustang, how these ridiculous moves of surrender and capitulation can be somehow construed to "advance the cause of liberty" is totally hidden to me. Based on what logic or precedent? How are such huge strategy decisions provoked without regard to any semblance of reason?
IRS, I will ask you to explain how anyone could remain "unserious" in the aftermath of what we have seen and heard from the terrorists own mouths? Is it that the left has not yet seen enough examples of the horrors that Conservatives everywhere are howling about? Does it have to occur in their own back yards and kitchens to have noteworthy impact on their consciousness? Must we graduate to suicide bombers in our malls and schoolyards before they "get it"?
