Tacit's the dude who subbed for me while on vacation last month. Many believe his straightforward commentary on Gordonbery got his site shut down.
How would his commentary get it shut down? Who shut it down?

Rumor has it that Delatacit got harrassing phone calls after the article about him appeared in Spark. Obviously, only he knows what happened, but it was interesting that the guy who was maybe the most strident critic of Gordonbery in the state had his blog suddenly disappear off the face of the earth.
Hmmm, it is typical Gordonberry to harrass the hell out of irritants but I think that Delatacit may have hit bottom with sleaze verging on porn that curried up some heat and that was what made him step off.
Way back in Al Mascitti's blog archives there were a few thread entries that explained it that way, as I recall.
