Not much that liberals do suprises me any more, but I have to say I was shocked to hear Dana advocate legalizing prostitution as a way to increase tax revenue.
While we're at it, why don't we legalize bank robbery in order to stimulate the economy?
Kid, you are getting hysterical and consequently making an elementary mistake. Prostitution involves a transaction between 2 CONSENTING adults. Bank robbery is a "transaction" that doesn't involve consent but coercion.

I do "get it", but the fact that there are two consenting adults doesn't make it right to sell sex for money.
And prostitution is not a victimless crime. It brings down the entire neighborhood that it takes place in. People are afraid to let their kids walk around and worry about being mistaken for prostitutes. Also, crime increases because the prostitution draws lots of sleazy people to the neighborhood.
Think about it. Would you want to live and raise kids in an area rampant with prostitution?
Mexican pols have just determined that brothels with regulated HIV and STD checkups are the way to avoid the inevitable....Nevada controls the business and probably collects taxes too.......get the mug on the one guy still grinning!!!

As it happened, a girl I was aquainted with, from Corner Ketch, was one of the murdered whore/addicts/victims/she didn't ask for it Kathy.
A fun loving kid who hung out with my one-time Newark "skidrow" roommate, Ed. Ed worked at the Elkton Road truckstop and he liked his speed which the truckers had in ample supply. I guess that's why Kathy liked Ed too.
All of these posted women look like addicts....the men do too.
Things like this make me wish they had to post people's Blood Drug Levels along with their mug shot so society gets a better picture of the human trajedy that sits a hair beyond mere lust and some randy need for sex NOW.

I noticed him too. I guess the desired "deterrence effect" was wasted on him.
They obey the current laws so well, they would certainly obey zoning laws. Sure.
The truth is they would go wherever the "business" is. Prostitutes aren't exactly upstanding citizens, nor do they have any self-respect whatsoever. People like that don't obey laws.
