There's been some strange quacking from the right on race: just take Bill Bennett's declaration, er, "thought experiment", that to abort every single black baby would lower the crime rate.
To have that thought pass through your mind makes for a questionable charactor but to speak it aloud on the radio is a crime in itself.
Sean Hannity had the former drug czar/gamblers anonymous candidate on to defend the indefensible, of course.
They're great American patriots to be sure.
