While we're exploring our dorkiness, the Science Fiction series Farscape from earlier this decade had a Villain (later turned psuedo hero) named Scorpius with a similar problem.
He was a half breed, and half of his lineage was extremely vulnerable to heat (it gave them a fever and caused death), while the other half of his lineage were heat producing lizard men. As a result, he was pretty much helpless without a special suit to keep him cool, and changeable cooling rods that were inserted directly into his brain.
Just for your edification, the scientific term for yawning is "Pandiculating."
Once I heard that,"If we yawned in front of someone it'll pass to them also and perhaps that would pass to more than fifteen people too." I don't know whether it is true or not..

Next they'll be telling us that inspiration floats through the air in particles and women can't be wizards.
