Ready on the Right--Ready on the Left--Ready on the firing line

You can buy bayonets which fit these rifles. There are three sizes, you just need to pick the right size.

Go to ar15.com and search around for more info.

Thanks Ry,
I will go take a look for the bayonets you mentioned. Somehow, though, I think my M1 Garand will still be a nicer looking piece of equipment ;-> I managed to find one with a GI stock that actually looks decent.
Thanks again.
Denise

Hey Denise! Welcome!! Carbines are a blast to shoot and I'm not surprised you love yours. Make sure your mags have the newish green followers, and I still wouldn't load more than 28 in the 30 round mags but you should be just fine!

Have you put any optics on it?

I'd carry my carbine everywhere I go if I weren't worried about losing $1400 worth of goodies if it got stolen out of the car.

That's why I went and bought an AK.

Gravatar You might consider the AK, totally reliable, cheap ammo, more oomph at close ranges than the 5.56 poodleshooter.

Gravatar Congratulations on end of the AWB! I'm glad that you could and *did* buy that, it's a sweet piece - can you shoot Service-Rifle with that? It's a farkin' damn shame we can't get anything like it in California with our Franken-Feinstein separate-but-equally stupid CA-AWB. I'm doing what I can with an M1 Garand but the guys who got grandfathered with AR's outshoot me like crazy.
Enjoy your carbine!

Gravatar I got my Rock River AR15 carbine. I love it too and I'm glad I got mine before they ban these weapons in Illinois out here. I put trijicon night iron sights on my AR and my glock 34. I also put rail system on so I could mount a light/laser and a bipod.

The carry handle is removeable to put a CCO on if I want one but I have a trijicon 3X24 scope which fits perfectly. The weapon is fun to shoot and I know you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Check out my website; check out my shooting page, and sign my guestbook when you get a chance.

Gravatar I am a 3rd gen Democrat, and a gun nut. I own a Chinese SKS (my 5th SKS, and the best shooter) and a really evil looking FAL that I settled for because I could not see spending $4000 on a BAR WWII type. I love to shoot military rifles, but I am limited to rifles with lighter recoil because of surgery in my chest.
Semis recoil less than ,say, a Mauser 98 or a Springfield '03.
So I own assault rifles for medical reasons.
I recommend an SKS to anyone starting out with military semis, cheap, solid, historical, good combat rifles at medium range, and as near 100%reliable as any machine can ever be.
