Dude, why do I get Hasselhoff? Damn.
And, you know, Mark Green did return his grand from Foley, even though it's a good eight years old. That was the right thing to do.

Dennis,
Though I'm a Democrat, I was even originally thinking the "Dirty Foley Money" thing was going over the top. What I didn't immediately understand however is that Foley made a number of large contributions to Republicans and the House Committee ($100,000 I think?) right around the time that House Leaders should have known something was up. The money is potentially dirty because it may have been hush money.
I don't have enough of the facts to know if that is indeed the case, but if the House Committee was given cash in exchange for sweeping this under the rug, then it clearly is dirty money. Every last dirty dime.

Does Green's support of Bush's Very Expensive Medicare Plan have any relation to Health Care/Drug Company PACS that donated so generously and frequently to him? Is that money dirty??

Just damn! That Jessica is a woman for the ages.
For sure Doyle knows no shame. Yesterday he was out at the Weston school welcoming the kids back to school. Is there anyone he wouldn't exploit?
As for the Medicare money, the vast majority of senoirs surveyed are happy with their drug plan. See, in spite of what the New York Times says, there was no drug coverage for Medicare prior to 2006. That people have to be reminded of that after less than a year is amazing.

You have to wonder how Doyle rode a bicycle as a child with the size of the stones that he has.
That was the best statement of this political season. And probably one of the most honest.

Foley has given about $745,000 to fellow Republicans since 1995, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. The $100K doesn't mean quite as much in that context. He also left Congress with 2.8 Million dollars in his campaign fund...$100K is peanuts.
