Denny, I (we) appreciate the time you are able to spend with us. It is great to know you are OK. It is also wonderful to know what is going on with you.
This is wonderful to read and have it hit home what a stroke really is. Thank you.
Share what ever you will, long or short. I must admit I have learned a lot since you have had your strokes. I wish you had not had your strokes but it is great that we can benefit from your experience.
Take care of yourself Denny and have anice holiday weekend.

Thanks barman! I am seeing so many interesting things lately.
I also may not correct too many mistakes in the future and I use that is a gauge as to how I am doing... or not so doing also.

Hi Denny, For years I have watched my oldest brother going thru what you keep going thru. My brother was back in the hospital again last week. My heart goes out to you and don`t you get upset over any mispelled words in the future . Most of us will know what you are meaning to write, so don`t work so hard. Take good care of yourself.
I had one minny stroke a few years ago and was luckier because all it did was cause double vision for me.
Any information on strokes. even your little notes are helpful. Thanks Denny.

I dont spell all that great nor do I always make sence of what Im trying to say and I have never had a stroke but either way Im glad your still here with us and I always enjoy reading your blog even more so now when you give information about strokes. Your right our minds and bodies are complicated machines. And we dont always take care of them like we should but when things like strokes happen sometimes when like you your effected by it and trying to figure out how to write something do we then realise all that we take for granted. Take care hun HUGS!!!!

Hello Denny,
I'm just amazed that you can actually sit at your computer and type anything. I know for me, I'll sit here and try to figure out whatever it is you're saying no matter how difficult some of your sentences may be. I'm thrilled that you take the time to write to us. I watched the effects of just one stroke on my Father, I can't imagine how you are managing life after 5 of them!!! You must be one stubborn man!!

Afternoon Denny,
I am so glad you are not giving up blogging and it is cool of you to teach us the info about how a stroke affects you because I for one did not realize. You are awesome to have come as far as you have and for trying. I cannot even imagine how frustrating it must be for a man as intelligent as you are to have such a hard time doing something others would deem so simple. Hugs to you and I am in awe of you Denny.

Hi Patti...
That is so sweet to say..... thanks.
Frustrating indeed. Unbelievable that I think the words in my works in my brain... and feel through in your brain and know to come out.... and I when I see them on paper, makes no sense and I get so pissed. ugh!
Hugs

Of course, I have to laugh at the last time we spoke on the phone. I said "Who's calling?" And you said, "Now how many people do you know with this Area Code?" LMAO! I looked at my cell phone and then it dawned on me! That was such a fun visit and of course, I'm delighted you will keep Blogging and I encourage it!

Denny, we had this same problem back in Jan `06, but I can`t remember what I did then to make it work for you. I`ll go check again on my blog and see if I can figure it out.
I came across an old e-mail about it. This was what I sent before that worked for you over a years ago, so it still might work.:
Denny try:
Dot`s Thoughts
I still haven`t figured out why the "Homepage" doesn`t work. I wonder if others are having the same problem? Noone has mentioned it to me. I`ll do some more checking on my blog, might have something to do with my changing over to the google blog site.
I was having trouble connecting to you at your old blog, but since I re-added it yesterday, it now works for me.

Denny baby,
I understand exactly what you are going through. I go through it 2 to 3 times a month. whenever I have a migrane.
I have complicated auras with my migranes that mimic strokes. Thank god the effects only last 24 hours or so. But I do know exactly what you are talking about.
I lose all sight in my right eye and feeling in the right side of my body. My tounge feels swollen and when I try to think or speak things dont come out right.
I just started some pretty heavy medication almost a week ago to permanatly rid me of these troublesome migraines. God willing it will work.
I love you, more then you can know. Your courage to teach others about what you are going through is amazing. Its tough to explain to people what you are feeling.
LOVE YOU.

My mom had a stroke at 25. She could not read or write (she was a writer), knew me and my sis, but not our names alot of the time. I remember this one time, watching her cry over the kitchen sink, bc she could not remember how to drink water. I watched her slowly recover, but over 20 years, she still has some side effects. It's a twist on the saying, though it rings true, "Different strokes, for different folks." I am glad I stumbled across your blog, and am going to share the link with her. You are an amazing man.
