I'm sure Drew will be a good host for the Price is Right in his own way. I really don't think anyone could fill Bob Barker's shoes.

I agree with Jan....no one will be able to fill Bob's shoes...he made that position his own, you know?

I used to like The Drew Carey Show back in the day. He's funny. Maybe he'll be good at it? I know I sure would be worried though, trying to take Bob's place like that!!!

I always liked Drew's show too but "what's my line?" - not so much.

I enjoyed Drew Carey's Green Screen Show, which was only a few episodes, but it was fun. That said, I don't think any host would be any good replacing Bob Barker, because he deliberately set off to make The Price is Right his own, and he succeeded.

Then again, I didn't think Bob Barker would be any good on The Price is Right because I liked Dennis James so much.

And my mother will tell you she hadn't thought Dennis James would be any good on The Price is Right because she liked Bill Cullen so much.

Drew Carey is no Bob Barker. Bob Barker wasn`t meant to be a comic. He was just his own caring, gentle, polite kind of person- just acting normal.
Would be hard for anyone to fill his shoes after all the years he was on.

I think Carey would have a better chance for success if they changed the name of the show so he wouldn`t be compared to Bob Barker. Bob Barker was a one of a kind. Would take a special type of person to replace him is just my opinion.
