100,000 People!!!!

Gravatar Ohhhh I feel your pain - soooo many sleepless nights for no reason what so ever.....but can't say last night was one of them. I was out before it was even dark outside - but then again in the frozen tundra it doesn't get really dark until 9:45 or 10

Gravatar I'm so into the coffee/sleeping pill cycle, it's likely to kill me. Otherwise I'm totally healthy. I feel for you, man!

Gravatar Oh, I hate those sleepless nights! Last night wasn't a tossing and turning night for me, I just didn't get to bed until 1. Ugh.

And thanks for stopping by yesterday. June 21st shall be celebrated on my blog forever now! lol

Have a good weekend.

Gravatar Morning Denny,
At least when you have these sleepless nights you don't have to worry about getting up for work

Gravatar Cheeky, I'd be so screwed up waiting until night time to arrive at 10 PM ... now do you to it?

Gravatar Bud... Once I'm with the coffee in the morning I'm done for the day... I'd never sleep if I drank it at night!

Gravatar Jenie! That's it... I just didn't June 21st to ever end!

Gravatar Patti! That's an excellent thought!

Gravatar Just think what Paris Hilton is doing as you slumber in the luxury of well-deserved fresh linens and dare I add...a bed turned down with a mint chocolate! lol!!

Gravatar Michael... she is laying on her age-encrusted mattress, with smelly, stained bed linen sheets. Her head softly lays on the rock hard pillow while she dreams about the days (and nights) we spend together again...

oh wait... that's my daydream not hers.

Gravatar I have had those days. Yesterday I went to sleep early. Of course I really had just layed down. About 2:00 I got back up to shut things off and fooled on the computer for an hour. Arg! Why oh why did I do that? Oh well.

Hope you got in a cat nap during the day.

Gravatar barman... why do we get in the middle of night and jump on the computer?

Gravatar I've been nocturnal since I can remember. Up til 12:30 at age 5, up til 2:30, then 4:30, then 5am at 9yo. Greg keeps swearing if I went to bed early and tried to get myself into a daywalker's routine, I could break myself of it. Nope, I just lay awake and watch the digital clock change. When I do fall asleep at night it's for no more than an hour or two, like a nap. I used to have a bumper sticker that said "Carpe Noctum: We do more after 2am than most people do all day."

Now I fell asleep at 8am this morning and slept straight through until 1:30P. I've always slept better during the day than at night. Go figure.

Gravatar You know Ive a few nights like that but almost never in a row
And I go crazy thinking is someone in the house other than those who belong here? Or where are the cats in my room or in their kennel? Is that the washer I hear or is there water running Oh god did a pipe break.
Yep Ive been there done that

Gravatar Been there done that myself so many times I can't even begin to count them all. Mom said I NEVER took naps when I was a little toddler, and I was awake often after my parents had gone to bed and I was all of 6 or something! I also do the same thing--climb into bed and then think about whether or not I closed the window in the office, etc. Eventually, I find myself dragging myself down the hallway to see if it's open or closed (or whatever else I was worrying about). Yeesh!

Gravatar I`m one of those 2 to 3 hour sleepers, even with the c-pap machine I still don`t sleep any longer. But sometimes after I watch Tv or go on the computer for a few hours I can fall asleep again for about an hour if I am lucky.

One night I was still just laying there about 3am in the morning and thought I heard my water pump running. I got up and went to the cellar door and sure enough the pump was running. So, I had to go outdoors to check the outside faucet. Sure enough, I had turned off the hose at the end and had forgotten to turn off the faucet itself. Walt would have flipped if I had headed outside alone during the middle of the night. He would have told me to let it go till daylight. But I am one who just has to shut off that faucet when I first heard it. I couldn`t leave the pressure on the hose shutoff all night as it might have finslly burst and been running water all over next to the house- what a mess that would have been.
Your fresh fluffed up pillows and sheets sound tempting, but I know I still wouldn`t sleep. I require those high puffed up pillows to raise my head when I lay down so I can breath easier.
